The 45th Reunion was held Friday, April 14th – Sunday, April 16th, 2023.
Friday Night – Pre-Party Meetup
No fake IDs needed. For this night, you could leave them at home. We held an informal pre-party beginning at 8:00pm at Rudy’s at Bellagio (17501 Dixie Highway) with a cash bar.
Saturday Afternoon – Walk-the-Hallways School Tour
Been away for 45 years? Wanted to see your locker again? Want to walk the hallways? Relive 45 year old memories? We were treated to a school tour by Ann Cherry, HF’s Alumni Director, who was our host and held a reception to greet the Class of 76. We met at 1:00pm and parked in the big south building lot to the north of the building and entered thru door #12. This is the entrance to the gym/cafeteria. We gathered just outside the cafeteria to start the tour.
Saturday Night – Class of 1976 45th Grand Reunion Party
We held our 45th Grand Reunion Party at Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood. Ravisloe has a beautiful and spacious dining room built in 1901 that provided a great reunion experience for us all. Doors opened at 6:00pm with the buffet dinner served beginning at 7:00pm. A DJ played our music and there was dancing. The Reunion ended at 11:00pm. Afterwards, who knows? The reunion price was $88 per person if you registered before January 25th. After January 25th, the price went to $110 per person.
Sunday Morning – Recovery Brunch
To wrap up the weekend and say goodbye until the next reunion, we held a brunch for 10:30am at the Fifth Quarter. We had our own space and ordered off of the menu including Bloody Marys and mimosa deals.
We had a limited room block at La Banque with rooms on a first come, first served basis. Call (708) 798-6000 for reservations. Additional recommended hotels included the Hampton and the Wyndham Hotels in Tinley Park.
